The club held their Special Puppy, Young Handler and Novice Test on Saturday 6th June by kind invitation of Mr Charles and Henry Watt and Graham Thompson. It was a sad start to the day to hear that sadly Graham Thompson had passed away the previous evening. Graham was one of eight who founded the club in 1990. He will be missed by many. Thanks go to our judges, Glynis Hillier, Liz Ingram, Roger Bannock and Alan Jennison & all our helpers giving up their time for 2 YH, 7 Special Puppies and 28 Novice handlers. We held an Open AV Retriever Test, Sunday 7th September at Kirby Cane Estate, Norwich, by very kind permission of Mr E. Crisp & Lady Hermione Crisp. 26 handlers competed, walking up in mixed terrain using live ammunition. As the day progressed the dogs were stretched with increasingly challenging retrieves. 7 dogs were finally tested in a well thought out drive .
